OUR MISSION
Empowering young learners with a practical skillset beyond what is traditionally taught in the classroom setting.
At MG Life Lab, we provide a multi-modal approach to education, utilizing hands-on learning to augment conventional teaching methods. Our mission is to equip students with the skills and knowledge base to adapt to what life throws at them. We teach what we wish we knew at their age.
Instructor Matt brings with him a depth of both educational and life experience. A graduate of Westmont College with a degree in Chemistry, he worked as a chemist in multiple ventures before deciding to attend law school. While pursuing his JD at night, Matt became a member of Search and Rescue through a rigorous selection process and full academy, also earning his EMT before ultimately completing his JD. In addition to teaching and coaching, Matt continues to be active 7-year member of Search and Rescue with specialties in Rope/Technical Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, and EMS, among others.
